Welcome to the newest tour in Canterbury, this tour is the perfect day escape from Christchurch City. The tour begins from Christchurch City before we head inland towards the Rakaia Gorge. We will stop for a stretch and coffee along the way before arriving at the Rakaia Gorge where you will go for a stunning jet boat ride up through the Rakaia Gorge. The limestone cliffs, stunning blue coloured glacial waters and superb drivers make this a journey to remember.
The jet boat ride takes 45 minutes.
After the thrills of the jet boating it's time to take you to Methven and the state-of-the-art Opuke Hot Pools and Spa where you can soak and relax for 2 hours in the beautiful pools. Our package includes the Tranquility package. Enjoy the swim up bar or just relax and take in the rural and mountainous views.
Lunch is included in the package and is available at Opuke after your pool session. Drinks and additional food can be purchased direct.
Day spa packages are available on request. Treatments must be arranged for within the time we have allocated at Opuke.
After the pools we will take you to the iconic Blue Pub in Methven for a drink on us.

We will make our way back to Christchurch, returning by, approximately 1730. Due to timing constraints, it is unlikely this tour will be suitable for cruise ship passengers, unless you have a reboarding time of 1800 or later.
This tour will only operate on weekdays until further notice. Minimum number of 4 guests required to operate the tour.
Day spa treatments at Opuke. Spa treatments are available on request and can be paid for direct on the day. The spa treatments must be arranged within the timeframe we have at Opuke, no additional time will be added to the day if spa treatments fall outside the allotted 2 hours we have at Opuke.
